The CT Tech independently performs computed tomography procedures, including the proper administration of contrast media, operating equipment, and performing venipuncture within their scope of practice. This role involves coordinating patient flow, maintaining equipment, and potentially performing procedures in other modalities or being on call.
Candidates must possess an Associate degree in Radiologic Technology and hold required licensure, including CPR Certification and ODH licensure, with ARRT RT (R) registry required and CT registry preferred. No prior job-related experience is required, though one year of specialized CT experience is preferred.

General Summary/Responsibilities: Independently performs computed tomography (CT) procedures utilizing proper techniques and administration of contrast media. Works under their scope of practice and in accordance with certificate/licensure in the administration of medications, operation of equipment, and venipuncture. Coordinates patient flow and the activities of the CT scanner. Exercises professional judgment in the performance of duties in order to maintain equipment in good working condition. May perform procedures in other imaging modalities or at other facilities based on departmental needs. May have on call responsibilities.
