The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing various radiographic, fluoroscopic, and specialized procedures under the general direction of a radiologist and radiology administration. Incumbents must comply with all applicable laws, Dignity Health Standards of Conduct, and policies, assisting in risk evaluation when required.
Candidates must have completed a formal radiologic technology training program accredited by JRCERT and CDPH-RHB, possessing either four years of experience plus one modality or three years of experience plus two modalities. Required certifications include ARRT, Basic Life Support (AHA), Fluoroscopy, and Radiology Technologist.
In accordance with the mission and philosophy of Dignity Health, the Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing a variety of radiographic, fluoroscopic and specialized procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision, under the general direction of a radiologist and radiology administration. Incumbents in this position shall comply with all applicable laws and rules including the Dignity Health Standards of Conduct and Dignity Health policies and procedures that apply to his/her job responsibilities, seek guidance when in doubt, promptly report any potential or suspected violation of Dignity Health Standards of Conduct, Dignity Health policy or procedure or applicable laws/regulations and when requested, assist Dignity Health personnel in investigating all allegations of violation. When called upon, the incumbent shall assist in risk evaluation and work collaboratively with facility/entity leaders to implement, monitor and mitigate risk corrective plans outlined by the Compliance program. Job Requirements Minimum: Four (4) years experience as a technician plus one (1) one modality required OR or three (3) years experience as a technician plus two (2) modalities required Must have satisfactorily completed a formal radiologic technology training program accredited through the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) and the California Department of Public Health, Radiation Health Branch (CDPH-RHB).
