The Speech Therapist is responsible for all phases of speech therapy, including evaluation, treatment planning, treatment administration, and documentation, while ensuring quality of care and effective department function. This also involves maintaining contact with referring physicians and co-workers, and ensuring a safe work environment.
Candidates must possess a Speech Language Pathologist license in California and obtain Basic Life Support - CPR certification within 30 days through the American Heart Association. Preferred qualifications include two years of professional experience working with adult and child language, speech, and swallowing disorders, though new graduates may be considered.
Licensed to practice registered nursing in the state of ND or in a compact state. Graduate Nurse (G. N.) must practice under the supervision of a registered nurse while the work authorization to practice is valid.
Previous healthcare experience preferred but not required.
