Performs professional nursing duties including assessing, planning, and evaluating patient care in an acute care setting. Maintains safety standards for personnel and equipment while promoting team efforts across departments.
Requires a graduate degree from an accredited School of Professional Nursing and current Texas RN licensure. Candidates must hold or obtain BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications within six months.
Performs the primary duties of a professional nurse in assessing, planning, directing, and evaluating patient care in Acute Care. Maintains safety standards for personnel and equipment. Promotes team efforts with physicians and personnel of other departments.
Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing. Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred. Personal Job-related Skills: Demonstrates ability in nursing practice. Requires effective oral and written communication skills. Basic computer skills preferred. Licensure, Registry or Certification: · Current RN licensure by the State of Texas. · Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS within 6 months required.
