The PRN Clinical Support Technician provides direct and indirect patient care support within the Emergency Department and Acute Care Unit under the supervision of licensed nursing staff and physicians. This role involves assisting with vital signs monitoring, activities of daily living, specimen collection, and preparing patients for examinations while maintaining a clean environment.
Candidates must possess either a Texas Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) credential, along with current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or the ability to obtain it within three months of hire. Six months to one year of experience in a healthcare setting is strongly preferred.
The PRN Clinical Support Technician provides direct and indirect patient care support in both the Emergency Department and Acute Care Unit. Under the supervision of licensed nursing staff and physicians, this position assists with patient care activities including vital signs monitoring, activities of daily living, specimen collection, patient preparation for examinations, and maintaining a safe and clean patient care environment.
Licensure, Registry or Certification One of the following required: Texas Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), OR Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtained within three (3) months of hire. Experience Six (6) months to one (1) year experience in a healthcare setting strongly preferred.
