The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for providing comprehensive airway care, including intubation, tracheostomy care, and managing both invasive and non-invasive ventilation systems for critically ill patients across all age groups. This role also involves drawing and analyzing blood samples, communicating with the healthcare team, and determining the appropriateness of prescribed respiratory therapies.
Candidates must possess a minimum of an Associate Degree and be a graduate of an AMA-approved program in Respiratory or Cardio Respiratory Therapy. Essential qualifications include holding the Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential, having a current NYS RT License, and active membership in the NBRC, along with current BLS and ACLS certifications.
Usd $53.45 - Usd $61.44 /Hr.
