Providers must also collaborate on care delivery improvements, initiate specialty referrals, and ensure timely, accurate patient documentation and compliance with billing standards.
Candidates must possess an MD or DO degree with a minimum three-year residency in either Internal Medicine or Family Medicine, requiring ABIM or ABFM recognition, respectively. Essential qualifications include valid American Board certification, an unrestricted Connecticut medical license, BLS certification, and valid DEA registration.
