Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients. Monitor patient progress and provide feedback to the therapy team. Educate patients on exercises and rehabilitation techniques. Maintain a clean and organized treatment environment. Document patient care and progress accurately and timely. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff. Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities. Support administrative tasks as needed to ensure smooth clinic operations.
Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant. Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited program. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment. Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) preferred. Compassionate demeanor with a patient-centered approach. Basic knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and modalities. Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
