Job description
This is a PRN position with shifts that will fall Monday-Friday 8am-4
30pm. Located on the 11th floor at the Adult Outpatient Pavilion, our Multispecialty Surgery Clinic specializes in adult care working with multiple providers for GI Bariatric, Colon & Rectal, and Trauma Services. As a multispecialty clinic we provide care for all surgery patients for post-op, follow-up and continued care. New patient consults are referred to our specialty surgeons and multiple procedures are performed in our clinics so we are constantly educating and working alongside our patients for a wide range of surgeries. Our clinic hours are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm with some flexibility. The Certified Medical Assistant provides direct, age-specific care to a patient or group of patients based on medical orders and the plan of care under the direction of the physician.

Additional position requirements: Certified Medical Assistants work all three shifts, weekends and holidays. Individual shift rotation and schedules will be established with your specific Nurse Manager/Practice Manager. Schedules, including requirements of shift rotations and hours of work may be adjusted as necessary to meet clinic requirements and/or as needed.
