The physician is responsible for managing the medical aspects of patient care by interviewing, examining, and treating clinical patients, including the diagnosis and treatment of acute, chronic, and long-term healthcare issues. This role involves ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, formulating treatment plans, prescribing medications or therapies, and overseeing mid-level and nursing clinical staff.
Candidates must possess an MD and maintain active DEA and DPS certificates of registration, with at least one year of experience in pediatrics preferred. Required abilities include critical thinking, active listening, and the capacity to apply professional medical principles while reflecting a caring persona to patients and families.
