The Treatment Coordinator manages patient care treatment plans by consulting with patients to explain procedures, outcomes, and financial obligations, while also coordinating necessary appointments and follow-ups. This role includes financial coordination, such as discussing costs and insurance benefits, and handling essential administrative duties like maintaining accurate patient records in the EHR system.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalency and ideally have previous experience in healthcare, specifically in treatment coordination or patient care roles, with a full understanding of surgical guide treatment processes. Essential performance requirements include strong communication, organizational skills, proficiency with EHR systems, and the ability to maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment.
The Treatment Coordinator plays a vital role in managing patient care treatment plans and ensuring that patients understand and proceed with their recommended treatment. This position involves patient interaction, detailed communication, and administrative support to facilitate smooth and effective patient care from diagnosis through treatment completion.
