The Advanced Practice Provider PRN delivers medical and/or surgical care to pediatric patients under physician supervision, performing diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive healthcare services as delegated. This role involves clinical decision-making, collaboration with the medical team to ensure quality patient care, and potential supervision of support staff.
Candidates must have graduated from an accredited Nurse Practitioner, Nurse Midwife, or Physician Assistant Program and possess Virginia licensure and national certification. Required experience includes previous clinical work with the population served, while three years of experience in the served population and academic healthcare is preferred.
