The Medical Assistant II is responsible for performing basic clinical duties necessary to prepare a patient for a Provider visit within the ambulatory clinic setting. This role involves working collaboratively with the practice team to ensure efficient operations while strictly maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to all practice policies.
Candidates must have a High School diploma or equivalent, along with successful completion of a Medical Assistance or comparable training program. Alternatively, two years of Medical Assistant experience can substitute for the formal training program, and 1 to 2 years of Medical Assistant experience is required overall.

The MA II works collaboratively with the practice team to assure efficient and effective operations in the practice while maintaining confidentiality of all patients’ records, medical treatment and diagnosis and abiding by the policies and procedures of the practice. EDUCATION: High School graduate or equivalent. Successful completion of Medical Assistance or comparable training program. Two years Medical Assistant experience will be considered in lieu of training program.
