The specialist will process moderately complex provider applications and requests, ensuring accuracy, and maintain provider data within systems. They will also handle written correspondence, respond to inquiries, research issues, and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
Candidates need a minimum of one year of experience in credentialing, medical billing, or healthcare, demonstrating strong professionalism when communicating with providers. Required attributes include strong organizational skills, the ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, attention to detail, and proficiency in computer systems like Microsoft Office.

HMS is hiring Provider Enrollment Specialists for the Alaska MMIS Fiscal Agent contract. The Specialists are responsible for interfacing with providers, working with applications, and completing data entry duties related to provider enrollment.
