The Medical Assistant will support physicians by assisting in patient examinations and treatments, which includes interviewing patients, recording vital signs, and collecting samples for lab analysis. This role also involves coordinating patient flow, scheduling appointments and procedures, triaging phone calls, and assisting with clinic compliance needs.
Candidates must have either completed a medical assistant program or possess one year of experience in a clinical capacity, along with a High School diploma or equivalent. Required special skills include computer literacy, proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and electronic health records, and a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
