The physician will provide comprehensive primary medical care services to patients in a clinic or telehealth setting. Responsibilities include maintaining patient records, communicating care plans, and participating in quality assurance activities.
Candidates must be graduates of an accredited medical school and complete a U.S.G.M.E. approved residency program. They should also possess current Alaska medical licensure and DEA certification, along with maintaining BLS/CPR certification.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Work Experience: Must be able to provide care for all age ranges. Education, Certification and Licensure: Graduate of an accredited medical school. Completion of U.S.G.M.E. approved Residency Program. Board certification preferred: board eligible if new residency graduate. Obtain and possess current Alaska medical licensure and DEA certification, obtain and maintain membership in applicable specialty board, meet minimum CME requirements as per licensing board on a yearly basis, maintain BLS/CPR certification and obtain and maintain current staff privileges at local hospitals as determined by the Chief Medical Officer. Additional Skills & Knowledge: Bilingual preferred.
