The technician performs diagnostic sleep testing and CPAP trials according to physician orders, ensuring patient safety through continuous monitoring before, during, and after procedures. This role also involves overseeing compliance with regulatory standards and performing equipment maintenance and calibration.
Candidates must possess a minimum entry-level degree in Respiratory Care or equivalent education approved by the Medical Director, along with prior patient care experience, preferably in sleep disorders. Required credentials include RCP (IPLA) or SDS through NBRC, or RPSGT through BRPT.
