The Patient Care Assistant provides direct, hands-on care and behavioral support to pediatric patients with complex medical and psychiatric needs, assisting with Activities of Daily Living and fostering a safe, therapeutic environment. Responsibilities include observing, documenting patient behavior, supporting therapeutic programming, and responding to crises using approved intervention techniques.
Candidates must be able to commit to 12-hour shifts, working days, nights, or weekends, and must have experience working with children or adolescents facing medical or psychiatric challenges. Required certifications include De-escalation Training within 30 days of hire and current CPR/BLS Certification.

The Patient Care Assistant (PCA) provides direct, hands-on care and behavioral support to pediatric patients with medical and psychiatric needs. Working closely with licensed nurses and an interdisciplinary team, the PCA helps create a therapeutic environment that promotes safety, healing, and growth.
