The MRI Technologist performs high-quality diagnostic imaging and provides compassionate patient care. They work collaboratively with the healthcare team and ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
Candidates must have a Technical Certificate and/or Associate's Degree in Radiology and current registration with ARRT. Preferred qualifications include 1 or more years of experience and additional certifications in Imaging.
Here at Fairview, we are hiring an MRI Technologist to join our Imaging Department at our University of MN Medical Center - West Bank location in Minneapolis, MN! This is a 0.6 FTE (48 hours per pay period) position that will work the following schedule with weekends as needed:
Performs individualized, compassionate patient care Communicate with and educate patient regarding pertinent information during all aspects of exam Achieves quality diagnostic images through correct patient positioning and use of technical factors according to protocol Applies established professional guidelines and standards to complex, routine, and non-routine diagnostic testing procedures Participates in Quality Assurance testing as required by regulatory agencies and/or manufacturer recommendations Required Qualifications Technical Certificate and/or Associates Degree in Radiology Current Registration with American Registry Radiologic Technology (ARRT) Basic Life Support
1 or more years of experience in a related role Additional certifications in Imaging ARRT MRI certification or successful completion within 18 months of hire.

The posted compensation range corresponds to the minimum and maximum pay rates outlined in your union agreement for the respective job classifications at the time of job posting. An individual's pay rate within this range may be influenced by various factors, including FTE, skills, knowledge, educational background, and qualifying experience as specified in the contract.
