The Direct Support Professional will meet with child or adult clients with intellectual disabilities in the Dubuque area to inspire personal growth, teach self-care, and encourage social skill development. Responsibilities also include supporting daily tasks such as bathing, cleaning, and cooking, while engaging clients in their plan goals.
Candidates must possess a High School diploma or equivalent and a valid Driver's License, along with the ability to qualify as an approved driver using a personal vehicle for which mileage reimbursement is available. Successful completion of background checks and a drug screen is contingent upon receiving an offer.
