This role involves evaluating patient function through formal and informal testing to determine status across various domains, and subsequently developing and implementing goal-specific treatment regimes coordinated with physicians. The therapist is also responsible for educating patients and families, and providing supervision to assistants and aides.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy and maintain essential credentials including BLS, NBCOT certification, and state Occupational Therapist licensure. Required skills include strong interpersonal, problem-solving, organizational, and time management abilities, along with competency in Microsoft Windows.
