Perform magnetic resonance imaging on patients using technical equipment and administer contrast materials as required. Responsibilities include preparing patients, screening for contraindications, and maintaining accurate clinical records for radiologists.
Requires an Associate's degree in a healthcare-related field and ARRT registration as a Radiologic Technologist. ARRT MRI certification is required within two years of hire, with two years of MRI experience preferred.
The essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to; performing magnetic resonance imaging on patients utilizing highly technical equipment and administering contrast materials as required. Other functions may be assigned.
Certifications and Licensures
ARRT - Reg Radiologic Technologist Required Equivalent Experience - ARRT registry or registry eligible required within 1 year of hire. One (1) year clinical experience as normally acquired through AMA approved school of radiologic technology required. ARRT MR - ARRT MRI Required Equivalent Experience - Within 2 years of hire or transfer.
Required Education: Associate's degree
Degree in Healthcare Related Field. Knowledge of MRI as normally acquired through completion of an AMA approved radiologic technology program required or the Michigan Radiologic and Sciences Consortium (MiRIS) MRI Program. Two years' experience in MRI preferred. MRI registry preferred.
