This role involves accurately applying ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis by performing various technical procedures, ensuring the highest quality radiographs with minimal patient radiation exposure. Key duties include positioning patients and equipment correctly, providing necessary radiation protection, and adjusting technical factors based on anatomical knowledge and equipment operation.
Candidates must possess an Associate's Degree from an AMA-approved radiologic technology program and be ARRT registered or eligible within one year of hire. A minimum of one year of clinical experience is required, along with current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within one month of hire.
Certifications and Licensures
ARRT - Reg Radiologic Technologist Required Equivalent Experience - ARRT registry or registry eligible required within 1 year of hire. One (1) year clinical experience as normally acquired through AMA approved school of radiologic technology required. BLS - Basic Life Support Required Equivalent Experience - Within 1 month of hire or transfer
