The Speech-Language Pathologist will evaluate residents' swallowing or cognitive deficits, develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve functioning, and provide skilled therapy assessments. Responsibilities also include educating residents and caregivers, coordinating diagnostic swallowing procedures, and maintaining accurate clinical documentation.
Candidates must possess an active and valid Texas license in Speech-Language Pathology and be in good standing with all regulatory agencies. Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility or long-term care setting is preferred, along with current knowledge of treatment practices.
