The Licensed Behavioral Health Therapist provides comprehensive psychosocial assessments and behavioral health care, focusing on maximizing the client's ability to direct their own health care experiences through assessment, intervention, education, and resource linkage. Duties include promoting patient-centered, multi-disciplinary care while maintaining knowledge of community resources and completing required documentation.
Candidates must possess a Master's Degree and hold a current unrestricted license in the state of practice (LCSW/LPCC/LMFT), along with Basic Life Support certification and a required National Provider Identifier prior to employment. Required experience includes one year in a mental health setting, with a preference for three to five years of related professional experience in settings like an FQHC or medical outpatient clinic.
