The primary responsibility is to provide pharmaceutical care, which includes the timely and appropriate distribution of drug therapy while adhering to all state, federal laws, and organizational policies. This involves offering patient-focused service through collaboration with customers and other healthcare providers.
Candidates must complete an approved pharmacy technician training program or equivalent to obtain the required Washington State Pharmacy Technician Certification by the hire date. Essential qualifications include knowledge of pharmacy law, ability to perform calculations, identify drugs, skill in compounding, strong communication, and typing at 45 WPM.

One (1) plus year of Pharmacy Technician experience. Two (2) plus years of IV experience. Two (2) plus years of warehouse experience. Three (3) years of hospital or outpatient experience. Completion of an approved pharmacy technician training program.
