This position is responsible for performing standard Medical Assistant duties, including medical intake procedures, patient assessment, recording symptoms, performing immunizations, and safe phlebotomy. Additionally, the role involves front desk tasks such as greeting patients, processing payments, verifying insurance, and scheduling appointments.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent, and completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program is preferred. Certification (CMA, RMA, CCMA) is required or must be achieved within six months, along with current CPR certification and preferably 1+ years of clinical experience.
Description CAN Community Health is now hiring a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) – Sign-On Bonus if you apply between now and April 30, 2026 Schedule: Full-Time | Day Shift | Monday-Thursday 8:00 am - 6:00 pm Friday 8:30 am - 12:30 pm Extended Hours Schedule (bi-monthly rotating schedule): Weekday 10 am - 8:00 pm; Weekend 8:30 am - 12:30 pm Pay Rate: $21.25 - $24.43 hourly based on experience

Education/Professional Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred Certification (CMA, RMA, CCMA) is required or ability to achieve certification within 6 months of hire. CPR certification required 1+ years of experience in a clinical setting preferred Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus Must be able to operate a motor vehicle and have valid insurance and driver’s license.
