The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist develops and implements anesthesia care plans, administering various types of anesthesia for diverse procedures while continuously monitoring patients. Key duties include performing comprehensive pre-anesthetic evaluations, preparing operating rooms, managing anesthesia during all phases of procedures, and providing post-anesthesia care.
Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in Nurse Anesthesia, hold active CRNA, RN licenses, and National Board Certification, along with required BLS and ACLS certifications. Essential skills include competency in advanced anesthesia techniques, strong communication, and the ability to function effectively in high-stress clinical environments.
