This role involves performing high and moderate complexity testing following established laboratory policies and procedures, while also handling pre-analytical and post-analytical support functions. The individual must accurately and efficiently perform all testing processes, maintain and troubleshoot equipment, and evaluate quality control assessments before reporting patient results.
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in a chemical, biological, or clinical laboratory science or medical technology, or an equivalent combination of degrees and ASCP certification, to meet CLIA '88 requirements for high complexity testing. This is an entry-level position requiring less than one year of experience, along with the ability to maintain organization, work in a fast-paced environment, and effectively communicate with team members.
