The Mammography Technologist performs diagnostic scanning procedures using specialized equipment to capture consistent, high-quality breast images while explaining procedures to patients and addressing their concerns. Essential duties include positioning patients accurately, reviewing image quality, adhering to radiation safety measures, and maintaining accurate patient records.
Candidates must possess a skilled level and working knowledge of Mammography scanning technology, along with competency in instructing others in scanning techniques. Required credentials include ARRT(M) Certification and CPR/BLS Certification, alongside the ability to maintain patient confidentiality.

Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, the Mammography Technologist will perform diagnostic scanning procedures to capture consistent and high-quality breast images.
