The role is responsible for delivering quality patient care according to established standards and practices while working under the direction of a licensed physician. This includes assisting the physician and staff with the daily coordination of patient care and patient access.
Candidates must be a graduate of an approved Medical Assistant school and possess two years of experience in a physician office setting, along with the ability to act decisively under stress. Required credentials include current CPR certification and current Medical Assistant Certification or Registration.
Responsible for providing quality patient care following established standards and practices under the supervision of a licensed physician. Assists physician and staff with the daily coordination of patient care and patient access. Coordinates patient flow, schedules appointments, procedures, tests and referrals.
