The Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician performs technical duties related to preparing and dispensing drugs under pharmacy manager supervision, including prescription processing like data entry, counting medication, and sales. They must also provide excellent customer service, handle complaints, and administer immunizations under pharmacist supervision.
Successful candidates must be able to perform essential duties, demonstrating strong language skills for reading documents and effective communication. Required certifications include National Pharmacy Technician Certification, an Ohio Board of Pharmacy Technician License, Immunization Certification, and CPR Certification.
