This role involves providing advanced-level nursing care to patients, which includes monitoring vital signs and assisting with various medical procedures and examinations. The Licensed Practical Nurse will also be responsible for administering medications and instructing patients and their families on appropriate ongoing care.
Candidates must possess a Certificate Program Post High School Vocational/Specialized Training and have at least one year of relevant work experience. Required credentials include a Licensed Practical Nurse license (or Multi State License) and Basic Life Support certification upon hire.
Provides nursing care to patients at an advanced level of practice. Takes patient vital signs, assists with procedures/examinations, administers medications, assists patient with activities of daily living (bathing, feeding, etc.) and instructs patients and their families in appropriate care.
