The role involves providing assessment, treatment, care, and evaluation for patients experiencing cognitive, speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders. This includes gaining patient and family cooperation through competent assessment, monitoring, and effective communication, while adhering to all regulations.
Candidates must possess a Master's degree from an accredited speech pathology program and typically require two years of recent relevant experience. Required certifications include a Speech Pathologist License, Basic Life Support (BLS), a Valid Driver's License, and Automobile Insurance.
**$10,000 sign-on bonus available to external candidates - in accordance with Sutter Health policy**
Master's: Graduate of an accredited speech pathology program TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
2 years recent relevant experience.
SP-Licensed Speech Pathologist.
BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider.
Critical thinking, complex problems solving, decisive judgement and ability to work independently.
Knowledge and application of professional practice and regulatory requirements.
Ability to work in demanding work environment, organize multiple priorities completing work duties within expected timelines and requirement.
Computer and required technology proficiency/competencies.
Demonstrates effective and efficient professional communication (verbal & written) skills as well as interpersonal skills, conflict resolution, teamwork/collaboration, customer service and community relations abilities.
Able to retain and apply new knowledge & skills.
