The Nuclear Medicine Technician operates all nuclear equipment for diagnosis as ordered by a physician and instructs patients on procedures and protocols. They are also responsible for proper computer operation and providing quality patient care.
Candidates must have certification by the California Department of Health Services and the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, along with a Certificate of Nuclear Medicine Technologists. A current BLS certificate and one year of experience in Nuclear Medicine are required.
