The Clinician provides direct clinical services including assessments, treatment planning, individual/group counseling, and crisis intervention to clients in Detoxification Services programs. Indirect services involve supervision participation, team meetings, and essential documentation to ensure high-quality, coordinated client care.
Candidates must possess a Master's degree in a mental health discipline and hold or be eligible for Utah licensure as a mental health therapist within two years of hire. Additional requirements include demonstrated crisis intervention skills, sound judgment, the ability to navigate stairs, and meeting driving requirements including being insurable.
Typically Monday-Friday, days. Work is performed in-person at our detoxification facilities.

The Clinician provides both direct and indirect clinical services to individuals receiving care through our Detoxification Services programs. Direct services include conducting clinical assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, facilitating individual and group counseling sessions, providing crisis intervention, and supporting client stabilization. Indirect services involve participation in clinical supervision, multidisciplinary team meetings, documentation and case notes, and other activities essential to high-quality, coordinated client care. This role plays a key part in supporting individuals as they begin their recovery journey and transition to the next level of care.
Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in a mental health discipline and Utah licensure as a mental health therapist (or eligibility for Utah licensure within 2 years of date of hire). Possess an active/current licensure status and remain in good standing with the Department of Professional Licensing. Work is performed in-person at an office at our detoxification facilities. Demonstrated skills in crisis intervention. Demonstrates an ability to use sound judgment within the scope of the position’s responsibilities. Must be able to walk up and down stairs. Ability to maintain professionalism and adapt to change. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; attention to detail. Driving is required: must be at least 21 years of age, possess a current driver’s license, have a good driving record and be insurable on the agency liability policy. Must be able to pass Utah-DHHS – Office of Licensing background screening and pre-employment drug screen.
