The surgical technologist is responsible for managing instrumentation and technical aspects during operative procedures. They work as a key member of the surgical team to ensure efficient and safe patient care in the operating room.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, plus graduation from an accredited Surgical Tech program. One year of surgical or scrub experience is required, along with Surgical Tech and BLS certifications.
High School graduate, GED or 3 years relevant experience required. Graduate from a Surgical Tech program required.
