Performs diagnostic and invasive radiological procedures to assist radiologists in the diagnosis and treatment of patient illnesses. Maintains a sterile environment and applies independent judgment while performing complex technical procedures like angioplasty and stent placements.
Requires graduation from a two-year AMA accredited radiologic technology program and current ARRT (RT & IRT) registration. Candidates must have four years of progressively responsible experience in a hospital diagnostic imaging department and hold or obtain Florida state licensure.
