The Patient Care Technician performs phlebotomy, patient transportation, and direct para-professional nursing care for patients in nursing units and the emergency department. They are also responsible for various registration and clerical duties to support unit operations.
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED equivalent and obtain BLS certification within 7 days of hire. Proficiency in basic computer skills and effective communication is required, with knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
