The Clinical Pharmacy Specialist provides advanced clinical pharmacy services, including direct patient care and medication management through collaborative practice agreements. They also manage disease states in gastroenterology and rheumatology while contributing to quality improvement and staff education.
Candidates must hold a Pharmacy Doctorate degree and have completed a PGY2 residency in Ambulatory Care Pharmacy or Medication Management. A New Jersey Board of Pharmacy license is required, and BPS certification in Ambulatory Care Pharmacy is preferred.
