The pharmacy technician will prepare and compound medications under the supervision of a pharmacist while managing inventory and restocking automated dispensing systems. They are also responsible for delivering medications to patient care areas and performing minor maintenance on pharmacy equipment.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and hold a Certified Pharmacy Technician (PTCB) certification. Proficiency in pharmacy software and the ability to perform aseptic compounding are essential for this role.
