Inpatient Licensed Therapist -- $5,000 Sign-on Bonus -- We are hiring an INPATIENT LICENSED THERAPIST (LSW, LISW, LPC, and/or LPCC) with experience to join our award winning inpatient staff.
As a member of the multi-disciplinary treatment team, the Inpatient Therapist provides direct patient care including: completion of psychosocial assessments, formulation of treatment plans, provision of psychotherapy groups, crisis safety plans and completion of discharge planning.
The Therapist interfaces with referral sources, community service agencies, businesses, employers, and healthcare facilities.
The therapist will be responsible for maintaining communication with patients’ families and support systems.
The Therapist may participate in crisis intervention situations, where verbal de-escalation techniques and safety planning are required.
The Therapist ensures compliance for quality patient care and compliance with the Joint Commission standards, State Health Department requirements, and all other regulatory standards.
Responsibilities & Duties Deliver Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) services to children, adolescents, and adults addressing behavioral health, mental health, and substance use concerns Manage and oversee all assigned client cases Collaborate and communicate with each client’s care team, including legal guardians, families, and both internal and external partners, as appropriate Provide clients with resources, support, and referrals to community-based or external services when needed Coordinate crisis intervention and emergency response, including partnering with external institutions for continuity of care Complete all clinical documentation and administrative tasks accurately and in a timely manner Pursue ongoing professional development to remain current on evidence-based treatment approaches for anxiety and related disorders Maintain a high standard of professionalism in conduct and presentation in all client and stakeholder interactions Communicate proactively and promptly with clients, clinical partners, and the practice’s administrative team Engage actively in continuing education opportunities and participate in small group supervision sessions *Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities required of the employee for this job.
