Salary Range

$1,332 – $1,792.80 per week (base gross), based on a 36-hour (3x12-hour) schedule; equivalent to $37.00 – $49.80 per hour.

• Location: Chicago Metro Area, Illinois The Respiratory Care Practitioner II (RCP II) / Respiratory Therapist (RRT) delivers respiratory therapy treatments and pulmonary diagnostic services in an acute care setting, including assessment, treatment planning, and implementation of care across all patient populations. This is a full-time opportunity in Chicago – big-city lifestyle, strong healthcare market, no car required, lakefront living. Responsibilities

Administer respiratory therapy treatments (oxygen, aerosol, airway management) Manage ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, and high-flow oxygen systems Perform pulmonary diagnostics (ABGs, PFTs) Implement patient-specific respiratory care plans Document care in the EMR Respond to code blue and rapid response events Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient outcomes May serve as Lead RCP during assigned shifts

Qualifications

Required: RRT certification (NBRC) Active State RCP License or ability to obtain Illinois licensure prior to start BLS (AHA) upon hire ACLS and PALS within 60 days of hire High School Diploma or equivalent Preferred: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy 2+ years of RCP experience NRP certification Pay Transparency Prime Healthcare Illinois offers competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package that provides employees the flexibility to tailor benefits according to their individual needs. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $37.00 to $49.80 per hour.
