The Occupational Therapist will evaluate, treat, and develop rehabilitation plans for patients in an acute care setting. They are responsible for documenting patient progress, coordinating discharge planning, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy and possess a valid license to practice in New Hampshire. A BLS certification and OTR certification are required at the time of hire.
Examines, evaluates, determines prognosis, and provides intervention. Reports findings to other health care team members. Provides discharge recommendations, exercise programs, and family teaching. Participates in and supports departmental programs such as in-service education, student programs, volunteer/observation programs, Professional Practice Committee, etc. Provides documentation, billing, and record keeping. Participates in compliance audits. Coordinates the scheduling of patients and meetings. Delegates tasks to support personnel. Performs other duties as required or assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy required Required Licensure/Certifications Licensed Occupational Therapist with NH eligibility BLS certification required Certified Occupational Therapist (OTR) required at hire, renewal optional.
