The Recovery Support Specialist will conduct ongoing assessments, develop individualized recovery plans, and teach essential life skills to clients. They will also provide crisis support, advocate for clients, and connect them with community resources and housing.
Candidates must have a high school diploma and at least three years of experience in substance use disorder or behavioral health programs. Strong documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills are required to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary team.

As a Recovery Support Specialist, you will be a critical member of the SUD team, helping clients define and achieve their recovery goals. You will build trusting, therapeutic relationships and support individuals in developing the skills needed to manage their symptoms, build independence, and live meaningful lives in the community.
This role is field-based and requires regular travel throughout the Washington, D.C. Metro Area.
