About the Role

Eutis Staffing is seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support patient care at the Paramus Veterans Memorial Home. This role is part of a dedicated healthcare team providing essential daily care to veterans in a long-term care environment. The CNA will work alongside nurses and clinical staff to ensure residents receive attentive, respectful, and high-quality care. This position requires professionalism, reliability, and a strong commitment to supporting patient well-being. What You'll Do Provide direct patient care including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility. Support nursing staff with patient monitoring and basic clinical tasks. Assist residents with meals and ensure proper nutrition and hydration. Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities. Observe and report changes in residents’ physical or emotional condition to the nursing team. Ensure a clean, safe, and supportive environment for residents. Communicate respectfully and effectively with residents, families, and healthcare staff. Follow all facility policies, infection control procedures, and safety protocols.

Qualifications

Active New Jersey Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license CPR Certification Fully COVID-19 vaccinated with booster (documentation required) Flu vaccination with documentation Valid state-issued ID or driver’s license Ability to work scheduled shifts (7:00am–3:00pm, 3:00pm–11:00pm, or 11:00pm–7:00am) Strong communication and interpersonal skills Compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused attitude Ability to pass background screening and required employment verification
