The Activities Aide is responsible for planning and implementing group and individual activities to meet the physical, mental, and psychosocial needs of residents. They must also maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations regarding resident rights and safety.
Candidates must have a high school diploma or equivalent and the ability to speak and understand English. One year of experience in an activities role within a skilled nursing or assisted living environment is preferred.
Performs duties involving the implementation of an activity program, which meets physical, mental, psychosocial needs and interests of residents.

1. Responsible for the planning of activities to meet resident’s specific needs, to include large group, small group, and individual participation as scheduled
2. Maintain documentation as required by State and Federal regulations and attendance book.
3. Assures personal and staff compliance to all State and Federal regulations including blood borne pathogens, infection control, use of hazardous material, and fire safety.
4. Assures personal and staff compliance to Resident’s Rights.
5. Responsible for initial assessment, picture and front name board.
