The pharmacist is responsible for interpreting medication orders, monitoring therapy regimens, and ensuring safe, cost-effective medication delivery. They also supervise pharmacy technicians and perform audits to maintain high-quality patient care standards.
Candidates must be licensed as a Registered Pharmacist by the Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy and possess an undergraduate pharmacy degree or Pharm.D. One year of hospital pharmacy experience is preferred, along with AHA BLS-HCP certification.

Under the direction of the System Director of Pharmacy, the Pharmacist is directly responsible for the day-to-day functional duties of the Department of Pharmacy in accordance with the hospital’s stated philosophies, goals and objectives to ensure the consistent provision of high quality patient care. Always works as a team member within the entire facility. Performs other duties as assigned.
