The Senior Licensed Vocational Nurse provides high-quality, patient-centered nursing care within an ambulatory setting. They function as a key member of the interdisciplinary team by assessing patient needs and implementing prescribed medical treatments.
Candidates must have at least three years of LVN experience in an adult ambulatory or outpatient setting and possess active California licensure. Proficiency in phlebotomy and electronic health record systems is required for this role.
The Senior Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) provides high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in the Executive Health Practice ambulatory setting by applying the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care within the LVN scope of practice. Under the supervision of the LVN Supervisor, Director of Executive Health and Medical Director, and in accordance with Ambulatory Services policies and procedures, the LVN functions as a key member of the interdisciplinary care team. The Senior LVN assesses and identifies individual patient needs through observation, review of disease symptoms, emotional status, laboratory data (as delegated), cultural and socio-economic factors, and patient response to prescribed medical regimens and treatments. Nursing care is individualized to meet each patient’s physiological, psychological, and psychosocial developmental needs.
