The technologist is responsible for preparing pathology and autopsy tissues for examination by the pathologist. They also assist the pathologist during gross specimen examination and frozen section procedures.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology and possess a valid NYS Department of Education license as a Certified Histological Technologist. A minimum of one year of successful experience in histology is desired.

Bachelor's degree in Medical Technologist Licensed as a Certified /Medica / Histological Technologist under the NYS Department of Education Minimum of 1 year successful experience in Histology desired
